Nearly eight years ago, we opened our very first drive-thru with a simple but clear mission: serve incredible drinks with positive energy and impact every local community we touch. Since then, you have helped us grow into something far bigger than a coffee company. Together we have shared millions of cups, thousands of early mornings and late nights, countless celebrations, and more connections than we could ever measure. Every visit, every smile, every “see you tomorrow” has shaped who we are.
Today, I am excited to share an important milestone in our journey: we are in the process of reaching an agreement for Dutch Bros to acquire Clutch. This was not a decision made lightly—rather, it comes from a place of deep pride in what we’ve built together, and a belief that this next step will allow the culture, energy, and community-first spirit you helped create continue to grow on an even bigger stage.
What you can expect is the heartbeat of our brand to carry on—the positive people, quality, speed, and service—those values are only amplified with Dutch Bros. This will also give our amazing team members new opportunities to grow beyond the current landscape.

Following a short closure and renovation period, Dutch Bros plans to reopen locations across North and South Carolina as Dutch Bros shops.
I have a Clutch Rewards account. What happens to my existing Clutch Points?
Get credit for your Clutch Points by (1) downloading the Dutch Bros® app and (2) submitting the CLAIM YOUR DUTCH REWARDS® form using the same email and phone number used in your Clutch Rewards account by September 30, 2026. We will review your Clutch Points total and depending on how many you have, you may receive Dutch Rewards® (free drinks!) in your new Dutch Bros® account.
What is the deadline to use my existing Clutch Points at Clutch Locations?
You will have until January 16, 2026 at close of business to use your existing Clutch Points at a Clutch Coffee location. After that, download the Dutch Bros® app and visit https://www.dutchbros.com/claim-your-rewards to get credit for your Clutch Points in your Dutch Rewards® account.
Do I need to sign up for Dutch Rewards®, or will my account automatically transfer?
You will need to enroll in Dutch Rewards®; your Clutch account will not automatically transfer.

What happens if I am already a Dutch Rewards® Member?

Who should I contact if I have an issue with my Clutch Points or my new Dutch Rewards® account ?

Will the Clutch locations be closed while you renovate?
Yes, locations will be temporarily closed while they are converted to Dutch Bros. Check the Dutch Bros® app for re-opening dates!
Can I still use a Clutch gift card?
Clutch gift cards will be accepted at converted Dutch Bros locations through December 31, 2026.
What happens to my Clutch Cash?
Any remaining balance will be transferred once you (1) download the Dutch Bros® app and (2) submit the CLAIM YOUR DUTCH REWARDS® form using the same phone number and email used in your Clutch Rewards account.
I have a monthly Clutch subscription, what will happen to it?
Your current Clutch subscription will end in January, but check out Dutch Bros’ offerings online and in retail stores!
